Nvidia GTX560TI is there a way to speed the fans up?

HI ive bought a new GTX560TI and i want to increase the fan speed as its on just 20%? there isnt any way to speed it up via its driver which is bizarre why Nvidia havent thought of this? ive been told to use MSI Afterburner BUT when i installed it on W7 (64 bit) the program was crashing my operating system and making my desktop VERY very laggy? so ive uninstalled MSI and wanted to know if there was another way or program that can speed the fans up please?|||yes, u can do it in the Nvidia control panel.
